Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how wowboost.eu (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website. We are committed to handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
wowboost.eu is an independent website that reviews and compares third-party game boosting services. Data controller: WoWboost, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: info.wowboost.eu@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Usage data — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, device and browser type, collected through analytics only if you consent to analytics cookies.
- Affiliate click data — when you click a “Visit” link we record that a click happened (which store, which page) so we can measure referrals. This is aggregated and not used to identify you.
- Information you provide — e.g. if you contact us by email, we receive the details you send.
We do not ask for or store payment details, and we are not the party you purchase boosting services from — those transactions happen on the third-party store’s own website under their policies.
Legal bases
We process usage and analytics data on the basis of your consent (given via the cookie banner), and we rely on our legitimate interest to run and secure the site and to measure affiliate referrals in aggregate. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
Cookies & analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies (e.g. Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager, with Consent Mode). See our Cookies Policy for details and controls.
Affiliate links
Our “Visit” links pass through an internal redirect and may append tracking parameters so the partner store can attribute the referral. This lets us earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We never share personal data with partners; only standard referral parameters are passed.
Sharing
We share data only with processors that help us run the site (e.g. analytics and hosting providers) under appropriate agreements, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
Analytics data is retained for the period configured in our analytics tool (typically up to 14 months). Emails you send are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email info.wowboost.eu@gmail.com.
International transfers
Some providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date reflects the latest version.
