The Hood — new Season 9.5 hero

Parker Robbins joins the Vanguard roster as the 53rd playable hero. He is a ranged tank who deals hitscan damage from medium range, building Demonic Energy through shooting, blocking, and using his movement ability. Once fully charged, he enters Half-Demon State and switches to rapid-fire demonic rifles with Lifesteal and Infinite Ammo.

His kit includes a spherical barrier (Mantle of Oblivion), a lane-control debuff tool (Abyssal Veil), a flight ability (Void Walk), and an Ultimate that fires six piercing rounds through enemies and barriers. The Hood has selectable Team-Up abilities with Moon Knight (defensive Lunar Barrier) and Scarlet Witch (offensive displacement field). He is well-suited to players comfortable with hitscan aim who want more offensive options than a traditional shield Vanguard provides.
